From rock climbing to household chores

More recently I find mindful moments when I’m walking barefoot through the park paying attention to the sensations on the bottoms of my feet as they touch the grass. I can also get into this attentive zone when cooking or when I choose to empty the dishwasher in a very slow manner. In the case of the dishwasher, I take out one dish at a time with attention only on where I’m placing the clean glass in the cupboard.  I often do this intentionally to stop the constant multi-tasking that I so easily fall into.
