"Sabrina Wood’s [Building Resilience] presentation was phenomenal! I was impressed by Sabrina's willingness to share some of her personal challenges. Her honesty created a safe, non-judgmental space where participants felt comfortable opening up about their own experiences. After identifying several of the most common stressors, Sabrina provided effective, actionable steps and strategies to reduce and manage our stress. I left the session feeling more relaxed and empowered to manage my stressors."

"Sabrina, I loved your [Linkedin] webinar! Things that stood out to me:
-gentle, intentional, mindful tone;
-great interactivity with breakout rooms;
-using Annotate function and live responses both to chat and live questions;
-tons of real life examples.

"As an intern, my experience with Sabrina’s Resilience webinar was great! I enjoyed thinking through the ways I help myself deal with stress and was amazed to come across ways that I didn't even associate with stress recovery. Example: Smells and Music. I constantly have music playing and either have incense or a diffuser going in my home. To hear about the science helped it to really sink in and I’ve already checked out some of the resources that were provided. Overall this is an important topic for students at any level to learn more about and I would highly recommend this session."

About Sabrina Woods
Holistic Career/Life Coach, Workshop Facilitator, Speaker & Consultant
I help people to navigate challenging, or sometimes even mystifying, career and life transitions. You might be in a toxic work environment, feel lost about your next move, or burnt out by work that has never been quite right. This means you might also be pretty stressed out. This is hard stuff.
In my work, I focus on career and life possibilities, but also what might take the edge off the stress in this moment. As a coach, I often draw on mindfulness practices and positive psychology principles. It's a holistic and resilient approach to career change and job search, so it often includes helping you develop a Wellness Strategy to go in tandem while you work towards your goals.
My background includes 20 years’ in the career services field at universities including Harvard, Northeastern and the University of London. In addition to coaching, I facilitate webinars and train-the-trainer sessions for other career coaches ranging from the Myers Briggs and Mindfulness to Linkedin and Salary Negotiation. Sessions have been taught in the US, UK and Middle East.
My desire is to educate, engage and inspire. During a webinar or coaching session, you might sense my authenticity, down-to-earth nature, and infectious energy.
I am also the President and manage the volunteer board for the Career Counselors Consortium based in Boston. I have an MA in Holistic Counseling and BS in Business. For additional background info, see Linkedin.
